The article discusses how a hip fractured patient is vulnerable to more fractures in future and why it is the responsibility of the patient more than the physician to take that it does not occur again. It highlights that those who fracture because of non-severe trauma reasons like car crash and rather from falling down or being careless are prone to greater risks of repeating fractures. One of the most seer case for the same is that in spite of numerous and inexpensive treatments being available, most people do not continue treatment for the necessary amount of time, and thus remain largely exposed.
